emacs-calfw-howm software package provides calendar framework for Emacs (howm add-on), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install emacs-calfw-howm
emacs-calfw-howm is installed in your system.
Make ensure the emacs-calfw-howm package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep emacs-calfw-howm *
You will get with emacs-calfw-howm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
